Enable Mobile Access to Enterprise Software

Create Mobile Applications for Commercial Off-the-Shelf Software (COTS) and Home-grown Applications
If comfort lies in numbers, the case for mobile enablement has approached critical mass. IDC estimates the mobile worker population to reach 1.3 Billion by 2015. The IDC Report also states that the United States will remain the most highly concentrated market for mobile workers, with three-quarters of the workforce being mobile by 2013.
Though the rise in numbers of the mobile workforce has been mercurial, organizations have made limited progress in meeting the growing demand for mobile-enabling their enterprise systems. Most companies have enabled mobile access to email, but when it comes to mobile-enabling mission critical applications, very few companies have made progress. A Yankee Group survey gives us this insight:

  • 42% of those surveyed now provide smartphone or tablet access to the corporate database
  • 30% to CRM (Customer Relationship Management)
  • 20% to ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)
  • 18% to SFA (Sales Force Automation)

Enterprises are left struggling to mobile-enable their business applications. Most enterprises lack the know-how to mobile-enable applications, even though they have strong and experienced IT staff. Speridian's Mobilize was built ground up to address this very challenge.

Mobilize has been pre-integrated with several Enterprise Packages.
Mobilize uses a variety of methods to integrate with your COTS Packages ; from SOAP based web services and REST APIs to Enterprise Adapters. Mobilize has been used by clients to mobile-enable the following:
