Mobilize is designed with an organization's security concerns in mind.

Mobilize's Mobility Manager provides two components to manage an Enterprise's security and Integration

  • Security Center
  • Gateway
Mobile Security
Security Center

The Security Center provides the following capabilities

  • Devices to be registered with Gateway:
    • Ensures only registered devices can connect to the gateway;
    • User ID to Device Address mapping occurs in the Gateway;
    • Device connection state known for all registered devices.
  • Auditing Capabilities:
    • All transactions are logged and Administrators can audit each users transaction history;
    • At any point of time, Administrators are capable of viewing a snapshot of the data available in each user's device.
  • Role based access control:
    • Define Roles and Access Permissions to be given to specific Roles;
    • Manage Field Level Security;
    • Keyword Management.
  • Device Management:
    • Administrators can remotely manage devices and be ensured that all devices follow the Organization's Security Policy;
    • Data Erase features provide Administrators the capability to wipe all data present on a device remotely through the Security Center.
  • Web based authorization system is used to govern privileges offered to each administrative user
  • Password Expiration
Gateway

The Mobilize Gateway's primary function is to provide Integration capabilities to Enterprise Systems via Web services or Middleware. The Gateway also comes inbuilt with the following security features:

  • Secure system transport:
    • Web Services use HTTPS;
    • Middleware uses Enterprise's network security.
  • User based sessions to host to/from device
  • Enables Secure transport to devices with device state tracking
  • GPS Tracking Capabilities for each device
