By registering for the Al Innovation Challenge 2025- University Track, participants agree to the following terms and conditions:
Student Status: All team members must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate program at a recognized University/university.
Passing Year: Participants must be passing out in the year 2026 (this applies to both undergraduate and postgraduate students).
Course Requirement: All team members must be taking a course in Artificial Intelligence (Al) or Machine Learning (ML).
University Verification: Teams must submit a Bonafide Certificate or a letter from their University principal/dean confirming their enrollment, passing year, and Al/ML course study. This document must be provided upon selection for participation.
Age Limit: All participants must be 18 years of age or older on 5th October, 2025.
Teams must consist of 3 members.
All team members must meet the eligibility criteria for the University Track.
Registration Period: Registration is open from 22nd Sep 2025 until 5th Oct 2025, 11:59 PM PST (Pakistan Standard Time).
Mode of Registration: All registrations must be completed via the official hackathon registration form on this website, clearly selecting the “University Track.”
Information Accuracy: Participants must provide accurate and complete information during registration. Inaccurate information may lead to disqualification.
Selection Process: Due to limited capacity, registration does not guarantee participation. All registrations will be reviewed, and selected teams will receive a separate confirmation email.
Confirmation: Only teams who receive a formal confirmation email will be allowed to attend the event. Confirmation emails will be sent by 14th October, 2025.
Acknowledge Confirmation: Teams who will receive a formal confirmation emails will be required to send acknowledgement latest by 15th October, 2025.
Required Document for Selected Teams: Selected teams must submit the aforementioned Bonafide Certificate/principal’s letter during registration. Failure to do so will result in non-eligibility for participation.
Code of Conduct: All participants must adhere to a respectful and inclusive code of conduct. Harassment, discrimination, or any form of disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated and will result in immediate disqualification.
Originality: All solutions developed during the hackathon must be original work created within the hackathon timeframe. Plagiarism or pre-existing projects are strictly prohibited. While pre-existing core technology of the startup may be leveraged, the solution presented at the hackathon must demonstrate significant new development specific to the challenge.
Intellectual Property (IP): Participants will retain ownership of the intellectual property developed during the hackathon. However, by participating, teams grant Speridian Technologies and its partners a royalty-free, non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, and showcase the developed prototypes for promotional and non-commercial purposes, including but not limited to event documentation, presentations, and marketing materials.
Data Usage: Any industry datasets or APls provided will be for hackathon use only and must not be used for commercial purposes or retained after the event.
Judging Criteria: Projects will be judged based on criteria such as innovation, technical implementation, potential impact, and presentation quality. The judges’ decisions are final and binding.
Attendance: Confirmed participants are expected to attend the entire event duration.
Speridian Technologies reserves the right to disqualify any participant or team that violates these Terms & Conditions, engages in unethical behaviour, or attempts to compromise the integrity of the event.
Prizes will be awarded as announced for the Startup Track. Speridian Technologies reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable. All government taxes will be applicable to the prize money. Prize cheques will be issued to respective startup/founder name.
Speridian Technologies is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury incurred by participants during the event.
The event schedule and details are subject to change at the discretion of the organizers. Participants will be notified of any significant changes.
