Launched in Dillon, Montana in 2022, New Wave has become one of the most robust talent development initiatives in the technology industry. Montana has served as the foundation of New Wave’s success, building strong partnerships with local universities and creating a long-term workforce pipeline. Because of the success, in 2026, we are expanding the apprenticeship to offer two viable career tracks to students in Hawaii and New Mexico.
Whether you’re interested in functional business roles such as or technical career paths such as AI enablement, New Wave provides a clear pathway into full-time employment.

The New Wave Difference
Unlike traditional classroom-only settings, New Wave integrates participants onto client teams where they experience everything from the discovery process through coding, testing and then delivery. While they learn, participants are:
- Full-time or part-time, paid Speridian employees
- Embedded into real client projects
- Mentored by experienced delivery leaders
- Trained in industry tools, frameworks and AI-enabled workflows
- Evaluated and positioned for long-term career placement
New Wave graduates have transitioned into permanent roles across multiple Speridian business units, with opportunities spanning Montana, New Mexico, Hawaii, Irvine and remote placements.

New Mexico New Wave Program – Two Career Tracks
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
The New Mexico New Wave program offers two distinct pathways:
Functional Business Analyst Track
This track prepares participants for client-facing functional roles on delivery teams.
Best for those who:
- Enjoy working with people and solving business problems
- Like translating ideas into structured solutions
- Want to be client-facing and cross-functional
Technical Resource Track
This track is designed for individuals interested in technical careers preparing participants for Techno-Functional Configurator roles.
Participants receive structured technical exposure, hands-on configuration experience, and integration into live delivery environments — building both depth and real-world applications.
Best for those who:
- Prefer hands-on system work
- Enjoy understanding how software functions behind the scenes
- Want deeper exposure to configuration and implementation
